Ann Uccello (1927-2012) was an American politician who served as the first female mayor of Hartford, Connecticut from 1967 to 1971. Prior to being elected as mayor, she served on the Hartford City Council from 1963 to 1967.
Uccello was known for her progressive policies and for breaking gender barriers in politics. During her time as mayor, she focused on improving housing, education, and community development in Hartford. She also worked to promote diversity and equality in the city.
